Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to implement repairs on bridge number 38-0045 on State Route (SR) 132 at the crossing of the San Joaquin River in Stanislaus County. All work will be within Caltrans' right-of-way. No new right of way will be acquired. The scope of work will include repair of the joint headers, installation of new joint seals, removal of existing AC deck, installation of new Hot Mix Asphalt desk, and implementation of a 50 foot conform taper at each end of the bridge. The purpose of this project is to provide proper deck drainage. The need for this project is to prevent future rehabilitation needs on the bridge.
