Document Description
Westlands Water District will install a pipeline road crossing that will work in conjunction with the existing Temporary Canal Integration Program pump-in located at Aqueduct MP 166.90R. Approximately 20 feet of pipe will be connected above ground. WWD contractors will benefit.

Reasons for Exemption
WWD is the lead agency under the CEQA for installation and operation of the CIP pump-in structures, but DWR will give permission to WWD to temporarily encroach on DWR's right-of-way for the work described above. The discharged pipe will be installed on a slope that is more than 20 percent, but the slope will not change. 15305 (b) (Minor Alterations in Land Use Limitations-issuance of minor encroachment permit applies.
