The State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) is the lead agency. The SWRCB's Safe Drinking Water State Revolving Fund program is providing funds for the project. The proposes a planning project to evaluate safe drinking water supply alternative for the Krista Mutual Water Company, including 1) Hydrological analysis of area water supplies and groundwater research to identify the best locations for up to two test wells for clean and adequate supply of groundwater; and 2)water treatment to remove fluoride and blending. A Preliminary engineering report will be prepared to evaluate the feasibility of alternatives, construction and operating costs, and alternative selection. The selected alternative will undergo environmental analysis and preparation of project plans and specifications then submitted to SWRCB for review and authorization for authorization for construction funding. Required Technical, Managerial, Financial (TMF), and environmental documentation will also be completed during this phase.
