Document Description
The project includes excavation and removal of an existing 40-foot long, 42-inch diameter corrugated metal pipe culvert and both culvert headwalls. A new 40-foot long 52-inch diameter corrugated metal pipe culvert will be installed in the same location and alignment. The new culvert invert will be approximately 12-inches lower than existing. A new dry stacked rock headwall will be built around the culvert inlet and a new mortared rock headwall will be built at the culvert outlet. The roadway surface over the new culvert will be poured in place and will conform to adjacent road surfaces. This reach of the drainage channel has accumulated excess sediment, restricting channel capacity. 95 linear feet of the channel downstream will be cleared of accumulated sediment
