Reasons for Exemption
The construction of a new well at the existing City's water tank site will replace lost production from when an older outdated City well had reached its useful life. The installation of the filtration system and related equipment is for existing Well 8 water treatment and will assist in improving water quality conditions. The proposed project involves negligible expansion of the City's current public utility water capacity.
