Purpose of the project is to restore and rehabilitate previously constructed drainage improvements which convey excess storm flows from the Montalvin Development to San Pablo Bay. The prior drainage improvements had fallen into a state of disrepair resulting in the 2011 flood event and subsequent legal action.
