The project would consist of seismic upgrades to the Historic Alameda High School building. The upgrades would include but not be limited to new roof to wall anchorages, new bracing on floor and roof diaphragms, the addition of structural steel to or reinforced concrete girt columns and the injection of cement grout into the shallow liquefiable soil underlying the buildings to increase soils strength. Also included will be ADA upgrades and non structural building improvements with new landscaping along the building frontage.
