Document Description
Pursuant to LA Municipal Code 12.32 & 11.5.6, a City Initiated Ordinance to update the zoning and height district and modify the South LA Community plan land use designation for a private property. This subject site has been developed with a single family residential land use since 1921, but was zoned for Parking in 1965; the proposed change will make the zoning and land use designation consistent with the current use of the parcel. The general plan land use designation will be changed from general commercial to low medium I Residential. The zone will be changed from P-1VL-O to R2-1-O. The O Oil Drilling supplemental use district suffix will remain. In addition, per LAMC 12.32, change the height district from VL to 1. The R2 zone would allow construction of one more unit on site.
