Document Description
The proposed project consists of various wharf improvements to Valero's marine oil terminal at Berth 164 on Mormon Island, in order to comply with MOTEMS. In general, the proposed project would demolish the existing timber wharf and replace the structure with new loading platforms, topside equipment, access trestles (to the platforms), mooring dolphins and catwalks; and complete seismic ground improvements along the northwestern boundary of the terminal via compaction grouting. The project also involves a new 30-year lease allowing operations to continue through 2047.
