Document Description
Development and operation of a new organic waste to energy facility that would use anaerobic digestion to convert organic waste to biogas. Municipal solid waste stream would be pre-processed at an offsite material recycling facility and transferred by trucks to the proposed organic waste to energy facility. The biogas would be recovered inside the tanks and used to generate electricity for onsite use and for sale to utility companies, including City of Anaheim Public Utilities. The proposed project would have capacity to generate up to 4.5 MW of renewable energy in Phase 1 and up to a total of 9.0 MW in phase 2.
