Document Description
The project involves widening a two-mile segment of Shaw Avenue east of the City of Clovis between De Wolf Avenue and McCall Avenue from a two-lane rural road to a five-to-six-lane urban arterial road. The road widening includes travel lanes, curb and gutter, bike lanes, median island, sidewalks, landscaping, street lights, fire hydrants,
and other facilities normally found along a major street. The project also includes public utility Improvements (water lines, sewer lines, and recycled water lines) as well as temporary drainage basins and stormwater management facilities (collection pipelines, inlets, and culverts).
