Document Description
The project entails the reconfiguration and expansion of the existing Costa Verde Center to create a local, walkable hub that provides community gathering spaces, additional retail shops, restaurants, office space, and neighborhood services, potentially including a health club. The project proposes to increase the development intensity of commercial/retail uses by approx 125,000 sf for a total of approx 303,000 sf distributed among a total of 15 new and existing buildings and redesignate an approx one-acre portion of the project site to Visitor Commercial to reintroduce a hotel use to the CVSP area. A 200-room hotel would serve residents, visitors, and the community's research, business, and educational hub. The hotel would be up to 10 stories in height and would encompass approx 125,000 sf.
