Document Description
The site contains an existing 12,060 sf auto body shop and a 6,500 sf building previously used for storage but is no longer used for storage. There is also an associated surface parking lot used by the adjacent buildings. The front portion of the 1925 Wilcox building, including the east interior space and the existing interior brick partition wall, would be preserved and adaptively reused as part of the hotel. 1921 Wilcox Ave and the west interior section of 1925 North Wilcox would be demolished. The project would remove the existing billboard sign located on the 1925 Wilcox building. The Wilcox hotel consists of the development of a single building with up to 150 guest rooms, 1,700 sf lobby restaurant, and 1,200 sf lobby bar/lounge that will be closed to the public and be categorized as incidental to the hotel use, and a 3,500 sf restaurant/lounge.
