Document Description
The existing storm water outfall within the project site is perched above an eroding bluff. The proposed project will replace the storm drain and add down drain and bluff stabilization measures. The project also includes the establishment of Low Impact Development components such as bioswales, retention bio filters, etc.

Reasons for Exemption
The project includes development of new, minor features such as bioswales, storm water retention biofilters, etc. and replacement of existing drainage features that are no longer functioning as originally designed such as the downdrain culvert pipe and bluff stabilization (Class 2). This exemption applies only to non-trust and is subject to permitting under a County Coastal Development Permit.
