Document Description
Xanterra operates an existing wastewater treatment plant at its Furnace Creek Inn resort regulated by the Water Board under Board Orders 6-95-68-A1. Xanterra will replace the existing plant with a new package treatment plant manufactured by Orenco Advantex unit. The current plant design flow is 0.20 million gallon per day. The new plant design flow is 0.10 mgd because onsite laundry facilities will be discontinued and service contracted out of the area. The Water Board intends to regulate discharges from the new plant under State Board General Order WQ 2014-0153-DWQ and then rescind the existing individual orders.
