Reasons for Exemption
This proposed project will install rooftop solar photovoltaics; energy storage systems; energy efficiency measurers; and all associated inverters, controllers, sensors, and other electrical equipment in three existing libraries in the City of San Diego. The project would add equipment to the roof of each library and additional equipment within the library itself. The proposed new installations will not significantly expand the use beyond that already existing. For these reasons the project will not have a significant effect on the environment and falls within section 15301.
