Document Description
The project will design, construct, and operate a pilot Membrane Gas Purification System that will be used to treat dairy wastewater in high rate algae ponds and produce at least 100,000 diesel gallon equivalents (DGE) of bio methane per year (39,500 scf/day) at the Fiscalini Dairy Farm that will be compressed into a tube trailer and sold offsite for transportation fuel. The Membrane Gas Purification system will deliver the existing dairy farm anaerobic digester so that the bio methane will be suitable for vehicle fuel. This project will reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve water quality at the dairy, and produce bio methane vehicle fuel.
