CALFIRE seeks to acquire about 4 acres of land which is the location of their existing Baker Fire Station, Cottonwood, California. The acquisition activity will transfer ownership interest of land from a private party to the State of California under the jurisdiction of CAL FIRE. CAL FIRE has not approved any development or use of the site at this time. Future actions, including development of the property, will undergo complete environmental review as required by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
