Document Description
The San Mateo County Resources Conservation District (RCD), in partnership with the NRCS and landowner Dan Shaffer, is proposing to increase the capacity of an existing water reservoir system in San Mateo County, California in order to 1) reduce instanteour diversion impacts from Pescadero Creek for the benefit of native steelhead trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) and coho salmon (Oncorhynchus Kisutch); and 2) improve water security for the agricultural producer. Project designs have been provided by the NRCS, and construction is funded by an Integrated Regional Water Management Plan grant from the California Department of Water Resources.
