Document Description
This project is the mapping and treatment of known yellowstar thistle, Centaurea solslitialis, and Sahara mustard, Brassica tournefortii, infestations in the Coal Canyon area of Chino Hills State Park. A Right of Entry Permit has been issued to The Natural Conservancy and it's contractors for this project. The infestations will be mapped and tracked using GPS and GIS technology. The weeds will be controlled using an adaptive management strategy including hand weeding and herbicide application.
