Document Description
The proposed project will involve installing one new 10,000 gallon water tank on state property. Minor trenching and backfilling will be required to repair existing pipes and/or install new pipes from the well to the new water tank. The trenching will be done with the aid of a small dozer or trenching machine or by hand. A new 10,000 gallon pour in place cement tank will be installed. Minor grading and clearing will take place for tank placement. The access road into the area will be reconstructed on an existing road prism that will need only minor regarding to set the water tank in place. The approach to the road off an existing permanent rocked road will need to be ramped down onto by adding 80 yards of crushed rock to prevent any slippage off of the permanent road. During the work required to install the water tank and repair associated water pipes, less than 1 acre of soil will be disrupted. Disrupted areas will be backfilled to original, which will prevent any change in drainage pattern.
