Document Description
The proposed project involves excavating approximately nine soil test pits for the water treatment design. The project also involves the installation of a new on site waste water treatment facility which will include the excavation of an area to accommodate the undergrounding of waste lines, holding tanks and leach lines. The expected equipment that will be used for this project will include an excavator, backhoe and dump trucks. The project is expected to last approximately two weeks.

This project fits under portions of two classes of Categorical Exemptions to CEQA: 14 CCR §15303(d) Class 3 (New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures) and 14 CCR § 15304(f) Class 4 (Minor Alterations to Land). Most of the project activities will occur within previously disturbed areas. The areas where new ground disturbing activities might occur are limited and are best described as minor in scope.
