This project would repair 2.1 miles of Ranch Center Road form the junction of Sycamore Canyon Road to Ranch Center, creating a sustainable, low maintenance surface. The scope of this project includes pulverizing the existing 4" to 6" of asphalt and leaving it in place as base material. The next step would be the placement of a 4" to 6" lift of high plasticity, graded ¾" minus surface aggregate over the pulverized asphalt base. The road surface would be out slope 2%-4% and crowned 3-4% where applicable.
No potential for significant impact to the environment is anticipated in compliance with CEQA §15300.1. If the project is implemented as indicated within the project description including comments provided by CDPR specialists, then it is exempt under CEQA.
