Document Description
The purpose of the proposed project is to provide low income farmworker housing in the community of Castroville. The proposed project consists of the demolition and replacement of farm labor housing on two sites in Castroville. The Speegle Street site includes 18 existing units while the Seymour Street site includes 30 existing units. The Housing Authority of the County of Monterey plans to demolish all 18 units on the Speegle Street site and replace them with 18 new units while the plan for the Seymour Street site is to demolish all 30 units and replace them with 36 new units.
