Document Description
The proposed project would develop a web-based data management system (DMS) to store and analyze existing groundwater data to facilitate the implementation of the State Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) and to support the management of groundwater resources in Sonoma County. Data analyzed would include groundwater levels, groundwater quality, pumping and well test data, streamflow data and well construction data. The proposed project builds upon successful initiatives in Sonoma County, including cooperative studies performed by US Geological Survey, cooperative groundwater management programs in the Santa Rosa Plain, and other regional water management plans.
