The Sierra Nevada Conservancy would provide funding to the Mother Lode Land Trust to develop a Watershed Enhancement Plan on the 575-acre Long Gulch Range Preserve. The Plan would include a Non-Industrial Timber Management Plan, a Great Grey Owl study, an analysis of current and future recreational opportunitites, and the Plan, if approved by CalFire in the future would guide long term forest management to protect forest and water resources.
This is a planning project involving the proeparation of a Watershed Enhancement Plan which has not been approved and would not be legally binding on future actions.
