Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board is the responsible agency. The SWRCB's Safe Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SDWSRF) Program is providing funds for the project. The East Bay Municipal Utility District proposes to demolish the existing 50-million gallon (MG) Reservoir followed by construction of an 8.5-MG replacement reservoir within the boundaries of the existing reservoir site.

Reasons for Exemption
The project consists of replacement or reconstruction of existing buildings and water supply facilities where the new structure willbe located on the same site as the structure to be replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced. Pursuant to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) Code, Section 711.4(d)(1), the CDFW environmental review filing fees do not apply.
