- Document Description
- Minor vegetation removal occurred in a small area directly adjacent to the reservoir spillway in fall 2015 in coordination with California Department of Fish and Wildlife (1600-2015-0188-R4). The vegetation has since partially grown back and requires additional removal. A recent inspection by Division of Safety of Dams (DSOD) identified that the vegetation in this area is starting to grow back. DSOD stated that the vegetation in this area is considered an obstruction to the spillway, which would contribute to a potential overtopping of the dam, and is a considerable operational safety concern. In response to DSOD's order CDCR will remove the vegetation removal the vegetation before the start of 2016/2017 rainy season.
