- Nautilus Data Technologies, Inc., is proposing to construction and operation of a waterborne data center facility at the Port of Stockton (port). The project would include permanent upland and in-water improvements to support in-water mooring of a barge in the northwest area of the Port's West complex. The barge would house data center storage equipment. Water from the San Joaquin River would be used to cool the barge-mounted data center. Associated infrastructure improvements (parking; an office, operations, and storage building; and utility connections) are also planned. The lease term with the Port would be 5 years.
