Document Description
The Town proposes to construct a new Community Multi-Use Facility at the project site, encompassing a maximum 100-foot by 200-foot (approximately 30,000 sf) multi-use ice rink/recreation zone, a 13,000 sf community center, a playground with restroom improvements, and 107 additional surface parking spaces. The project would also include an active outdoor recreation area to the west of the proposed buildings. Upon project completion, the existing Mammoth Ice Rink/RecZone (located at 416 Sierra Park Road) would be made inactive, and the existing community center (located at 1000 Forest Trail) would remain under Town operation as a storage facility. Construction of the proposed project would be phased and is anticipated to begin in June 2017 and conclude in June 2022.
