Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-SBR-27510-R6), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Inland Empire Utilities Agency as represented by Joel Ignacio. The project is limited to construction of two new diversion structures along the concrete-lined San Antonio Creek Channel to divert flow into the existing adjacent Montclair Basins 2 and 3. The added diversions will span the full width of the 25-feet wide concrete lined channel. Each diversion will be constructed by excavating 8 to 10-feet below the channel floor to install the drop structure which will have a finish dimension of 6.5 feet deep below the channel floor with a length of 8-feet. The 8-feet by 25-feet opening will be covered by steel grating to limit large debris from entering the drop structure. Connected to the east side of the drop structure will be wall mounted steel gate. The gate will connect to a new 4-foot diameter pipe which will convey the captured stormwater down into the adjacent basin floors.
