Document Description
The City of San Bernardino, in cooperation with Caltrans, proposes to replace the existing Second Street Bridge (Bridge #54C-0411) over Warm Creek between Arrowhead Avenue and Mountain View Ave. The purpose of the project is to improve the sufficiency rating of the bridge, including improving the longevity of the bridge, reducing maintenance, improving seismic performance, and bringing the design into compliance with American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials standards. The project would include replacing the existing bridge, widening each sidewalk by one foot, and installing bridge barrier railings that conform to AASHTO standard.
