Document Description
The proposed project is a water system upgrade that includes the construction of new waterlines, installation of a tank and booster pumps, and the consolidation with an existing, but separate, water utility system. The objectives of the project include providing potable water that meets the drinking water standards, including the EPA arsenic MCL and providing additional water storage capacity needed for fire protection.
New water line segments within the school campus and in rights of way of previously disturbed areas will be installed, along with a 10,000 gallons tank and booster pumps. There will be 4,410 lineal feet of buried 4 inch and 6 inch waterlines installed via surface ground disturbance, and 2,610 lf of 4 in water lines installed by horizontal directional drilling (HDD).
