Caltrans proposes to improve safety at the intersection of SR 41 and Kansas Avenue in Kings County at PM 34.7. The proposed work would include the following: Constructing a left-turn lane on southbound SR 41 for traffic turning left onto eastbound Kansas Ave. Constructing a refuge/acceleration lane in the SR 41 for westbound Kansas Avenue traffic turning let onto southbound SR 41. Widening right-turn lanes on the northeast corners of the intersection to accommodate truck turning movements.
