The property was purchased for the bridge improvement project by the Stanislaus County Department of Public Works in September of 2015. The project involves the relocation of an existing Modesto Irrigation District electrical use. All stormwater runoff will be handled through a system of swales. No stormwater runoff will be discharged to the Stanislaus River.
