These parcels contain significant habitat and wildlife corridors. District staff propose to acquire all or the majority of the 1,600 acres in separate phases. Phase 1 may include the Beattie property (9 acres) and four of the FNIP parcels (400 acres) for a total of 409 acres. Phase 2 may include the White Rock property (400 acres). Phase 3 may include five parcels totaling 760 acres. Funding will come from a variety of sources.
