Document Description
The project will modify the existing wastewater treatment to produce disinfected tertiary treated recycled water that meets California Title 22 code regulations. The project will result in reductions in total dissolved solids (TDS), turbidity, and algae. The project will install a suspended air flotation and granular media filter system, a chlorine tank, ultraviolet water purification system, sludge drying bed and new sluice gates. The project will benefit the employees and inmates at PVSP and ensure the unimpeded operation of the prison and its public safety mission.
