This action was an emergency project to reconstruct the revetment that protects the north parking lot at Cardiff State beach, Riprap and cobbles were added to the existing riprap to prevent damage to the road.
This project constituted emergency repairs to publicly owned facilities necessary to maintain service essential to public health, safety and/or welfare in accordance with CEQA §15269(b) No potential for significant impact to the environment occurred in compliance with CEQA §15300.2. The project was implemented as indicated within the CDPR project evaluation form to ensure that any impacts would be less-than-significant.
