Leasing of Existing Parole Office Space
NOE - Notice of Exemption
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitations (CDCR) is proposing to lease approximately 10,000 net usable square feet of existing office space. The location on Elder Creek Road is zoned for office use and there will be no increase in occupancy or parking beyond the existing levels. The lessor will make tenant improvements to accommodate the office operations prior to occupancy. The use is consistent with local zoning regulations.
The project consists of the operation, repair, and leasing of existing public or private structure and facility involving negligible or no expansion of use (CEQA Guidelines 15301). This is one of a class projects that the Secretary for Resources has found do not have a significant effect on the environment, and therefore is declared to be categorically exempt from the requirement for preparing an environmental document. None of the exceptions to a notice of exemption apply.
