Oroville Wildlife Area Restoration Project, Phase II, Project ID 2019029. The project will improve the connectivity of the Feather River to its historic floodplain, reduce flood stages within the main channel, provide more frequently inundated floodplain rearing habitat for juvenile salmonids, and reduce the extent of invasive plant species through vegetation management and restoration, hydraulic improvements, arid recreation enhancement. The Wildlife Conservation Board will assist with the funding of a portion of the project, which includes construction of interior channel grading improvements and the construction of the fish barrier berm.
