CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement NO. 1600-2017-0021-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Sutter Butte Flood Control Agency.
The Sutter-Butte Flood Control Agency proposes a series of hydraulic improvements, recreation enhancements, and habitat restoration at the Oroville Wildlife Area (OWA). The project includes the following activities: The construction of a rock gabion inflow weir, construction of a notch connection to the Feather River, placement of RSP along an outflow weir, the construction of a fish barrier berm, channel grading improvements, improvements of interior road crossings, public parking improvements, installation of a portable restroom slab, access improvements, construction of recreational and emergency bridges, and invasive species removal.
