The SBFCA is proposing to construct the Oroville Wildlife Area Flood Stage Reduction Project. The purpose of the proposed project is to improve the connectivity of the Feather River to its historic floodplain, reduce flood stages within the main channel, provide more frequently inundated floodplain rearing habitat for juvenile salmonids, reduce the extent of invasive plant species, and plan for future habitat restoration at the OWA.
