The EIR for Plan Bay Area 2040 is a programmatic EIR that evaluates the environmental effects of implementing the regional transportation plan through year 2040 and sustainable communities strategy, per SB 375, for the SF Bay Area. The proposed provides a strategy for accommodating projected household and employment growth in the Bay Area by 2040 as well as a transportation investment strategy for the region.
