Caltrans proposes to provide dedicated and reliable water service to the CHP Inspection Facility through an eight inch diameter underground water pipeline. The pipe will be buried in a four ft wide by six ft deep trench within the State ROW. Backfill will consist of gravel and native soil, as the sub and surface layer, respectively. Minor vegetation removal is anticipated.
