The project proposes to renovate existing school buildings and infrastructure, and includes the following project components: expansion of the South Parking lot; expansion of on-campus student drop-off and pick-up areas; demolition of the garage on the former residential structure and removal of the Staff Parking Lot; restriping and widening of San Ysidro Road to include a left-turn lane for northbound traffic and a median north of the South Parking Lot entrance; interior renovation of the kindergarten/First grade building and main building, including Americans with Disabilities Act improvements; placement of temporary classrooms for use while the Main Building undergoes upgrades; and conversion of the Kindergarten Parking Lot to a play area. The project would require export of approx 1,000 cy of material.
