Document Description
The proposed project is the construction of new groundwater recharge basins for periodic release of water through the LTRID canals. The project is being proposed to better serve water users within the Lower Tule River Irrigation District. The entire area encompasses 160 acres of land, a majority of this land will be used for the groundwater recharge basins. Lower Tule River Irrigation District will be proposing an agreement with the owners to construct recharge basins on approximately 160 acres of property. The property will contain 10' deep ponds with a 5' perimeter mounding to allow for the underground aquifers to be recharged for this region.
