Document Description
The purpose of this project is to conduct an erosion inventory and assessment along 12 miles of unmaintained and abandoned Ponderosa Way road segments within Battle Creek's South Fork Canyon between Forward Road at the projects north end and State Route 36E to the south. Also included in the inventory and assessment will be immediately adjacent portions of intersecting roads along this section of Ponderosa Way. The sediment source assessment will lead to a prioritized plan-of-action, designs, work scopes and estimated budgets for future erosion control and sediment delivery restoration projects related to both historic/chronic and recently developed sediment plumes along that portion of Ponderosa Way within the project area.
