Document Description
The West Valley Water District (District) Well No. 39 is contaminated with nitrates and located in the Bloomington, CA located south of the 10 Freeway and Cedar at 10271 Cedar Place. The influent levels of nitrate in the water are about double the maximum contaminant level (MCL) of 45 parts per million (ppm). The proposed treatment systems is a biological remediation system followed by disinfection and ultra-filtration. The system has been approved by the California State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water for conditional use, and piloting was successfully conducted at this well.
