Document Description
The California Department of Water Resources (DWR) proposes to have a contractor modify the existing PG&E Line 303 gas line at mile post 16.30 (Sta. 859+58) along the South Bay Aqueduct. The work will include demolition of the existing concrete liner and pipe support by using hand tools, using a trencher to expost the existing PG&E Line 303 gas line, installation of DWR furnished 42-inch split casings, installation of DWR seals, injection of Trenton Gel for corrosion protection, repair of damaged coating on the PG&E Line 303 gas line with Powercrete J material, reconstruction of the existing reinforced pipe support, and backfill excavated are and repair concrete liner. Excavated materials will be hauled off site and became the Contractor's property.
