Document Description
As part of its Energy Managament Plan, Eastern Municipal Water District evaluated the feasibility of replacing internal combustion engines with electric premium efficiency motors. It was determined that the benefits of making these changes include energy cost savings. The project will convert existing internal combustion engine drive equipment to electric motor driven equipment at the Oleander and Heacock/Pettit Booster Pump Stations (BPS). The Oleander BPS is located on the southeast side of the intersection of Lasselle Street and Kentucky Derby Drive in the City of Moreno Valley. The Heacock/Pettit BPS is located on the southeast side of the intersection of Heacock Street and Cactus Avenue in the City of Moreno Valley.
